Joint CSCA, ASA and CiS Annual Meeting

Trinity Western University, Langley, BC on July 23 to 26

ASA is The American Scientific Affiliation; CSCA is The Canadian Scientific and Christian Affiliation; CiS is Christians in Science, a sister organization in the UK

The main theme of that meeting is "Neuroscience and the Image of God". However, there will be a special symposium called: "Christian Environmentalism: Technology, Theology, and Social Organization". This will feature 11 papers and topics from textile manufacturing processes to the Moral Landscape of Alternative Suburban Spaces. There will also be a number of other papers in the general session on environmental topics that may be of interest.

In addition, the Global Resources & Environment Commission will hold an evening meeting to continue discussing the possibility of forming a Christian Environmental Professional organization. This is the next step in the discussions begun at the initial meeting, August 16, 2002. Anyone interested in this on-going project is encouraged to register and come to the ASA, CSCA, CiS meeting.
