Faith and Earthkeeping Conferences Series

This series of conferences was started in 1998, with the first Faith and Earthkeeping Conference held at The King's University College in Edmonton, AB. The first conference was spearheaded by Harry Spalling and John Wood. John Wood has remained an integral part of these conferences.

The first conference dealt with the issue, "What is an environmental professional?". There were 50 participants.

The second conference, held 2 years later at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC.

The third conference was held in 2002 at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, ON. From among the 90 participants, some are now looking to form a Christian Environmental Professional organisation. Information about this past conference as well as proceedings from it are available.

The fourth conference was to be held in Edmonton again, in 2004. However, instead, interested individuals are encouraged to attend the joint annual meeting of the CSCA, ASA and CiS organizations to be held at Trinity Western University, Langley, BC on July 23 to 26. More information »

Subsequent Conference Series dates are yet to be determined.
